The total cost of Hookah catering specials or hookah rentals will be determined by the amount of Hookahs or Packages ordered, plus applicable deposit.
Minimum charge- $200 allows you 2 hours of service times, excluding set up and break down time. If more than 2 hours of service time is needed, an additional surcharge will be added. If the event will end after the agreed time, prior arrangements must be made and Smoke Signal Hookah will assess and add additional fees in 30-minute increments.
See below for additional pricing for services rendered over 2 hours (this does not include additional charges for an event running over the agreed upon time frame.)
Reservations for catering or rentals must be made 72 hours prior to the scheduled event date by calling or emailing
Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance
All cancellations must be made within 24 hours prior to the event day. Deposits are fully refundable if cancelled 3 days ahead of scheduled event. If the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled event date, the full deposit amount will be billed. If the cancellation is made the day of the event, the full bill agreed upon by both parties will be billed.
You may request changes to the date, time and/or location of the hookah-catering event or the menu items ordered if the request it made at least 3 days in advance of the original scheduled date. Please note, due to Smoke Signals commitment to other customers, your rescheduled requested date and/or time may not be available. In this instance, follow the cancellation policy above. No changes can be made less than 2 days of the scheduled event.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
All deposits for each Smoke Signal Hookah catering or rental events are required within 24 hours of the booking of the event. Deposits are non-refundable if purchase is canceled 48 hours prior to the scheduled event date. You will receive a reservation confirmation that will show the due date of the deposit to reserve your event date. Payment can be made via PayPal, check or cash.
Final payment must be made on the day of your event by check, cash or Paypal prior to the event starting. Smoke Signal will issue a final itemized bill, indicating the package ordered and the amount of total charges to be billed for services. Any unforeseen additional surprise charges such as, but not limited to; broken hookahs or equipment owned by Smoke Signal Hookah and an event running over previously agreed upon end time will be billed at the end of event. This additional bill must be paid within 24 hours of event’s scheduled end time.
REQUIREMENTS AND LAWS
It is unlawful for a person to knowingly sell or distribute tobacco or tobacco products to a person who is less than eighteen (18) years old. A person who knowingly does this commits a Class C infraction. Additionally, the buyer must pay the seller for the tobacco product for the sale to take place, and, it is not a defense for the person to whom the tobacco was sold that they did not smoke, chew, or otherwise consume the tobacco. (IC 35-46-1-10)
Smoke Signal Hookah will not serve any persons under the age of 18. All participants are required to have a valid ID
WARNING: Smoking Shisha contains some amounts of nicotine (unless it’s nicotine-free tobacco). Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Smoking Hookah can be hazardous to your health. The participant certifies the knowledge of tobacco products and their health effects as well as the client’s responsibility for their guests/those participating in smoking at the client’s event. The client will not hold liable Smoke Signal Hookah or any of its associates for the side effects of smoking tobacco or any other related issues.
1.1 Client will be responsible for providing own Tobacco and Coals. Smoke Signal Hookah does Not Sell Tobacco or coals. The Certified Hookah Tobacco and coals provided with your Hookah Catering and or Hookah Rental is provided Free of charge, courtesy of Smoke Signal Hookah.
1.2. Smoke Signal Hookahs are designed to smoke Hookah Tobacco Only. Smoking any other substance in our Hookahs is strictly prohibited and will constitute as damage to Hookah and you will forfeit your security deposit. Clients assume the risk of any undesirable events, injuries, damages, or malfeasance resulting from the use of Smoke Signal Hookahs in conjunction with any other substance besides hookah tobacco and will hold Smoke Signal Hookah harmless for such results.
INSURANCE AND IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
You agree that Smoke Signal Hookah shall not be liable for any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses relating to the event for any amount in excess of the fees paid by you to Smoke Signal Hookah pursuant to this agreement, except to the extent finally judicially determined to have resulted from the gross negligence, bad faith, or intentional misconduct of Smoke Signal Hookah.
You acknowledge that you have examined the rented property prior to taking possession and that they are in good working condition, except for any defect specifically noted on this catering Agreement, and determined that it is suitable for your needs.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES:
We are not the manufacturer of the rented property nor are we the agent of the manufacturer and we make no warranty against interference, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. There is no warranty or representation that the rented property is not fit for your particular use, or that it is free from latent defects. There are no warranties which extend beyond the face of this agreement. We will not be responsible to you or to any third party for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from use of, or any failure of, the rented item. We will not be responsible for any defect or failure of the rented property unknown to us. Your sole remedy for any failure of, or defect in, the rented property is termination of the rental charges at the time of failure, provided that you notify us immediately of such failure.
EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES:
ALL CATERED EVENTS WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNTIL A COPY OF THIS AGREEMENT IS SIGNED AND RETURNED TO MANAGEMENT OF SMOKE SIGNAL HOOKAH. The confirmation should be received no later than 24 hours prior to the event. An event that is not confirmed runs the risk of service not being guaranteed
In compliance with United States Health Department, Smoke Signal Hookah will not serve any persons under the age of 18, or under the minimum age set by the local jurisdiction for the purchase of tobacco products.
If you would like to use your own products such as tobacco and coals, you will be responsible for everything that may affect your health. Smoke Signal Hookah does not sell Tobacco. The Tobacco and Coals provided with your Hookah Rental are provided FREE of Charge with rental of hookah, and are courtesy of Smoke Signal Hookah.
Our Hookahs are meant for smoking flavored hookah/shisha tobacco ONLY! Smoking or adding any other substance in our Hookahs is strictly prohibited and will constitute as damage to Hookah and you will forfeit your Full Security Deposit. Clients assume the risk of any undesirable events, injuries, damages, or malfeasance resulting from the use of Smoke Signal Hookahs in conjunction with any other substance besides hookah tobacco and will hold Smoke Signal Hookah harmless for such results. Each hookah will be inspected and tested at the Pick Up time.
Delivery and pick up:
Delivery and pick-up of all Smoke Signal Hookah Catering Equipment and/or Rental Products shall be at Smoke Signal’s convenience. Notwithstanding the above, Smoke Signal agrees to have its Hookah Catering Equipment and/or Rental Products set up and/or delivered by the agreed upon date and time. Client agrees to provide Smoke Signal Hookah employees and agents access and the right to enter the event sites premises for the purposes of delivery, installation, service during the event, and pick-up of Smoke Signal Hookah Catering Equipment and/or Rental Products.
Security deposit of $200 will be collected upon delivery, prior to the event start time.
Client is responsible for ensuring all hookahs and rented equipment is clean and in good condition prior to the scheduled pickup time. Security deposit will be fully refunded upon return of rented hookah equipment in clean and working order.
